Architect Charles E. Theisen, AIA, of ArcVision Studios, PC envisioned and designed a magnificent cross tower for the members of Christ United Methodist Church and for the community of Greensboro, North Carolina. From hill, to body, to rose, to crown, to spire, to orb - the cross is lifted high - to a total of 123 feet. As described by Mr. Theisen, "Standing proud on the Hill is the white clad body of the tower symbolizing purity. Look further, above the body, there are four open white rose petals representing the nativity of Christ. Embraced by the Rose is the Golden Crown of Life-Eternal Reward of the faithful giving rise to the Arm of God adorned with four "tau", a foreshadowing of the Cross of Christ representing the four Gospels of Matthew, Mark, Luke and John continued by the Orb signifying no beginning and no end, eternity-God for all humanity with the Cross Triumphant above acknowledging constant witness to Christ Jesus." Munns Manufacturing was honored to be the manufacturer of this inspirational cross tower.
